I am pleased to anounce that I am now accepting group members for the Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) Series.
TCTSY was created for individuals managing symptoms related to trauma or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). A TCTSY group session is different from the typical yoga class in that all of the components of this group are informed by Trauma Theory, Attachment Theory and Neuroscience. This special design is intended to create a safe space for individuals to explorie being present in their bodies, decide how to move in their bodies and cultivate awareness of body sensations.
TCTSY is an empirically validated treatment for complex trauma and PTSD. For more information about my group you can click on the Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga page on the left or you could also check out the TCTSY group and their research at http://www.traumasensitiveyoga.com
I am also accepting group members for the Body Acceptance Group. I offer a 6 week session each Spring, Summer and Fall.
